Western Coaches Run in Flying Pig |

Chris Shepherd and Aaron Carnahan participated in the Flying Pig Marathon Sunday May 4th in Cincinnati. Aaron participated in the half Marathon (13.1 miles) finishing in 1:55:37, while Chris ran the full 26.2 miles plus, (an extra 1/4 mile was added due to a detour) finishing the race in just over four hours and twenty three minutes. |

6 youth wrestlers compete @ Grade School State |

The 5th annual Grade School State was held at Ohio University on March 29 & 30. Six wrestlers from the Western Brown kids club travelled to Athens to compete. Congratulations to all wrestlers who participated in the event. Gracie Fischer (0-2), Brandon Lucas - 4th (5-2), Austin Brooks (3-2), Wyatt Fischer (2-2), Joe Hensley (1-2) and Cory Peters (0-2). Have a great summer and see you next season. |

4 BC Brawlers travel to Kentucky and Indiana |

Over the weekend 4 club wrestlers travelled to Indiana and Kentucky to participate in freestyle, greco and freestyle tournaments. Congratulations to Blake Silvis for taking home the Gold and Tyler Adkins for bringing home the Silver from Indiana in freestyle. Congratulations to Joe Hensley (1st) and Brandon Breezley for participating in the Border Wars Quailifer in Kentucky. Keep up the good work. |
